Rules

Uniform

  • Shirt – White, Blue, or Gray “Certified Volleyball Official” polo shirt
  • Slacks – Dark Navy slacks made of 100% polyester are recommended.
  • Belt – Black or dark navy blue if there are belt loops on your pants
  • Shoes/Socks – Completely white
  • Jacket/Sweaters – Optional, an approved “Certified Volleyball Official” jacket from the website above, or must be plain white with no designs or huge logos.

Ratings

  • Must be rated at the Utah Volleyball Academy
  • Other Possible Rating Dates – Any Idaho tournament run by our region
  • Levels of USAV ratings from lowest to highest:
    • Official in Training
    • Provisional
    • Regional
    • Junior National
    • National
  • PDF – Levels of ratings and description of levels

Officials Pay Structure (Intermountain Region)

  • Official in Training – $30/match
  • Provisional – $32/Match
  • Regional – $35/Match
  • Junior National – $38/Match
  • National – $40/Match
  • Scorekeeping – $28/Match
  • National Scorer – $30/Match
